The short version
Everything the app knows about you is stored on your own device. We operate no servers and receive no data from the app—not your answers, name, results, or usage statistics. There is nothing for us to sell or share because nothing reaches us.
What is stored on your device
The app saves the following locally:
- The display name you choose
- Your answers to the quiz questions
- The personality scores calculated from those answers
- A record of each completed comparison, including the other person’s display name and Messages participant identifier, both people’s scores at that moment, the resulting archetype, and the date
This information is kept in the app’s private local storage and protected by your device’s security. It is not backed up to a service we operate. It may be included in your own iCloud or encrypted device backups according to your Apple settings, which are governed by Apple’s terms.
What is sent with an invite or result
When you choose to add an invite or result to a conversation, the message carries:
- Your display name
- Your calculated personality scores
- An identifier for that comparison and the Messages participant identifiers of the people in it
- For a result, the archetype and relationship scores
Your individual answers are never included. They remain on your device. Only the calculated scores travel.
The message is delivered by Apple’s Messages service to the conversation you choose. It does not pass through any server we control. Once sent, the people in that conversation can see it, and Apple handles it under Apple’s own privacy policy.
What we do not do
- We do not collect or receive data
- We do not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking
- We do not include third-party SDKs
- We do not track you across apps or websites
- We do not sell or share personal information
Deleting your data
Deleting the app from your device deletes everything it stored locally. Messages you already sent remain in their conversations and can be removed in the same way as any other message.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it receives no information. It asks for a display name, which may be made up.
